5 common questions answered
NHTSA’s three recalls involve issues that should not be ignored. Missing or loose transmission accumulator bolts may cause a fluid leak, loss of transmission function and an increased fire risk if fluid reaches an ignition source. A poor rearview camera connection may reduce visibility when backing. Low lubricant in the rear drive unit may lead to axle seizure, loss of drive or loss of vehicle control. Waiting can leave a safety concern unresolved. If you notice a recall notice, a distorted camera image, a fluid concern or a drivability change, contact Herb Chambers Ford of Westborough and arrange a VIN check as soon as possible.
