5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies three safety recalls for the 2019 Ford Transit Connect. A transmission start/stop accumulator endcap may have missing or loose bolts, allowing a fluid leak that could lead to lost transmission function or fire when fluid meets an ignition source. On certain vehicles with 2.5L engines, PCM software may delay fail-safe cooling after coolant loss, creating overheating, engine damage, and fire risk. An affected frontal air bag module may also lack required first-stage booster propellant and fail to deploy as intended, increasing injury risk. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved, so schedule a free VIN check promptly.
