5 common questions answered
NHTSA describes two recall concerns for certain 2018 Ford Taurus vehicles. A rear suspension toe link may fracture on vehicles equipped with the Police Interceptor or SHO Performance Pack, causing a sudden change in handling and increasing crash risk. On certain vehicles with mechanical key ignition systems, the key may be removable when the transmission is not in PARK. If the parking brake is not applied, the vehicle could roll away, also increasing crash risk. Waiting to check an open recall can leave a known safety concern unresolved. A free VIN check helps determine whether either remedy applies to your Taurus.
