5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies four potential safety concerns associated with the 2014 Ford Flex. A fractured rear toe link can cause a sudden handling change. Fuel pump module overheating can cause a stall or prevent the engine from starting. A seat classification issue may improperly suppress the passenger airbag, while an axle shaft retention problem can interrupt power to the wheels or allow the vehicle to roll away without the parking brake applied. Waiting can leave a safety-related condition unresolved. A VIN check clarifies whether your Flex is affected and whether the manufacturer remedy remains open.
